We're fundraising for remote and rural Queenslanders doing it tough
As teachers in a remote community, we understand that “doing it tough” in the bush carries a different weight. Access to mental health support is limited, and for many of the young people and families we work with, the Flying Doctor is not just a service — it’s a lifeline. We’re walking to support something we know is essential, because we see the impact of that gap every day.
That’s why we’re challenging ourselves to walk 3km a day this March, raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
With your support, the Flying Doctor can continue delivering vital mental health programs — including Drought Wellbeing, Remote Wellbeing and Wellbeing Out West — and provide over 12,100 mental health consultations each year to people across regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Please consider donating to support our challenge. Every contribution helps keep the Flying Doctor flying.
