I'm fundraising for remote and rural Queenslanders doing it tough

Doing it tough in the bush means doing it extra tough, because people in remote, rural and regional Queensland don’t have the same access to professional mental health services and support. For many, the Flying Doctor is their only option.

That’s why I’m challenging myself to walk 3km a day in March. I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Please support me!

Together we can keep the Flying Doctor flying, delivering 3 major mental health programs (Drought Wellbeing, Remote Wellbeing and Wellbeing Out West) and over 12,100 mental health consultations a year to regional, rural and remote Queensland.

Please donate to my challenge today!

Dave's recovery

Tuesday 24th Feb
Dave & myself set off in our caravan January 2020. While working outside of Rockhampton Dave suddenly became very ill. He was admitted to Rockhampton hospital June 2020. RFDS flew him to Prince Charles Hospital for specialist treatment. After a few weeks there RFDS flew him vack to Rockhampton Hospital to start his recovery and learning to walk again. We are very grateful for the care & support from RFDS and Rocky Hospital during that time and what an amazing job they do.
