I'm fundraising for remote and rural Queenslanders doing it tough
Doing it tough in the bush means doing it extra tough, because people in remote, rural and regional Queensland donβt have the same access to professional mental health services and support. For many, the Flying Doctor is their only option.
I lost my brother on November 17, 2024.
He had been struggling with mental health issuesβthough none of us truly knew. He was always smiling, always happy, always the one who seemed okay. But deep down, he was hurting in ways we couldnβt see.
This loss has taught me that not all pain is visible, and that sometimes the people who shine the brightest are carrying the heaviest weight. Please be kind. Please check in on the people you love, even the ones who seem fine.
You are so deeply missed, my brother. π€
Thatβs why Iβm challenging myself to walk 3km a day in March. I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Please support me!
Together we can keep the Flying Doctor flying, delivering 3 major mental health programs (Drought Wellbeing, Remote Wellbeing and Wellbeing Out West) and over 12,100 mental health consultations a year to regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Please donate to my challenge today!
