Walking Together for Health, Safety & Mental Wellbeing

This March, our team is taking part in the Fit to Fly Challenge, committing to walk 3km every day for the month. It’s a simple goal with a powerful purpose: supporting mental health in remote, rural and regional Queensland.

Doing it tough in the bush often means doing it without easy access to professional mental health support. For many communities, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is their only lifeline.

As a Health & Safety business, we know that wellbeing goes beyond the workplace. It’s about supporting people, families and communities to stay healthy, connected and safe. That’s why we’re moving together to help keep the Flying Doctor flying.

Funds raised through our challenge support vital RFDS mental health programs, including Drought Wellbeing, Remote Wellbeing and Wellbeing Out West, delivering over 12,100 mental health consultations each year to those who need it most.

Every step we take is a step toward better mental health outcomes for Queenslanders doing it tough.
